BAYCOL®

On August 8, 2001, Bayer Corporation and its German parent company, Bayer AG, voluntarily withdrew its cholesterol-lowering drug, Baycol® (cerivastatin), from the United States market. On August 10, 2001, Strong, Martin & Associates filed in the United States Federal Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, the world's first Baycol® lawsuit. Strong, Martin & Associates was subsequently chosen as counsel by individuals with Baycol-related injuries from throughout the United States. As of August 2004, the firm has secured compensation for its Baycol® clients in excess of Fourteen Million Dollars ($14,000,000.00). Strong, Martin continues today to work for its Baycol® clients in federal and state courts.

[These settlements are the result of private negotiations between the parties involved that may be affected by factors other than the legal merits of a particular case. Each case is different and these or any other prior results should not create an expectation about future results in any individual case.]
